As we wrap up National Drinking Water Week, we want to recognize the people who make it all possible, the Ohio County Water District team.

Pipes, pumps, tanks, treatment equipment, and infrastructure are all critical to delivering clean, reliable water. But none of it works without the dedicated professionals behind it every single day.

This week, we’ve highlighted the journey of your water from the Green River ➡️ to treatment ➡️ to distribution ➡️ to our office operations. Today, we’re recognizing the team that keeps the entire system running 24/7, 365 days a year.

From licensed operators and field crews to customer service, administration, maintenance, professional engineer, compliance, and leadership, it takes a full team working together to serve our community.

This week for National Drinking Water Week, we’ve highlighted the journey of your water from the Green River ➡️ to treatment ➡️ to distribution.

Today, we’re recognizing another critical part of that process: our office and administrative team.

While crews are in the field and operators are at the treatment plant, our office staff works behind the scenes every day to keep everything running smoothly for our customers and community.

From billing and customer service to work orders, reporting, scheduling, compliance, and financial accountability, this team helps keep Ohio County Water District operating 24/7, 365 days a year.

After water leaves our treatment plant, the work is far from over.

Ohio County Water District maintains hundreds of miles of water mains, booster pump stations, service lines, valves, meters, and other critical infrastructure to ensure clean, reliable water reaches your home, business, school, and church every single day.

Our Distribution field crews work year-round repairing leaks, replacing aging infrastructure, responding to emergencies, and investing in long-term reliability for our community.
