My favorite piece on the college admissions scandal. Probably only an American parent going through this process today could relate to this.

For the socially and economically hopeful, I would explain, raising a child in America is an eighteen-year process of investing in the college-admissions system.

I think this is a very positive trend and I hope it will spread a little closer to home!

School districts across the country are banning homework, forbidding it on certain days or just not grading it, in response to parents who complain of overload and some experts who say too much can be detrimental.
