PSA - Wednesday, March 18, GCHS will have the Prom Promise Program at school. The Hartford PD, Hartford Fire Department/Paramedics, and Life Flight will be on 6th Avenue behind the elementary school conducting a program showing GCHS juniors and seniors the effects/consequences of impaired driving. Help spread the word, so that neighbors and community members do not think there is a serious medical emergency going on at the school. This will occur around 10:45, behind the elementary school on 6th Avenue. Thanks for your help!

ONLINE SILENT AUCTION RULES

1. Bidding will be open from 8AM Dec 4th, 2025 until the close at 12 noon December 11th, 2025.

2. By bidding in the Online Silent Auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.

3. Geneva County HS reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the Online Silent Auction.

4. Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued, nor is it possible for expiration dates to be extended. All items are “as is”.

5. Geneva county HS provides no guarantees, warranties or servicing of auction items.

6. To make a bid for an Online Silent Auction item, simply type the amount you wish to bid in the comment section of the item picture on original Facebook post. The opening bid on each item will be listed. Each subsequent bid must follow the minimum increment of $5.00. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and voided.

7. You may bid on any item in any Silent Auction section until the item is closed.

10. Once the auction is declared closed, the last bid entered on the comment section that adheres to the designated increment shall constitute the winning bid and will so be marked.

12. The winning bidder will be contacted and cake/dessert can be picked up from Geneva Co HS on Friday, December 12th from 9:00-3:05

13. Payment for items purchased must be made in full. We accept cash, or a personal checks made payable to GCHS.

14. Any item left unclaimed will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold.

Hey friends and locals ……our students at GCHS will be hosting a cake/whole dessert auction over the next two weeks before break to raise funds for their FBLA state competition!
We need your help…….If there are any friends or locals who could donate a homemade cake, pie or dessert( platter of cookies, cupcakes etc) we can put in our auction we would be so grateful! Message me and I can give you the details!

The Return of the Pumpkin People 🎃

This year, our Pumpkin People need to be set up no later than Friday, October 24th and judging will occur on Wednesday, October 29th. It is our goal to have over 50 entries this year, and we know that it is possible with your help!

Click on the picture in post and Scan the barcode or follow the link below to enter your favorite Pumpkin People in this years competition categories: Most Amusing, Most Creative, and Best Business Theme.

The cost to enter is $30 made payable to GCHS. Money can be delivered to the front office anytime during the school week. The entry fee MUST be paid by 12pm on October 24th to be included in the contest.

Best Overall, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will receive a yard sign for their business display and a special feature on our Facebook and Instagram page.
