Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the United States learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It stands as a powerful reminder of resilience, liberation, and the ongoing pursuit of justice.

Today, we honor Black history and culture and reaffirm our commitment to equity for all.

As families gather, remembering social host laws around underage drinking and cannabis use helps ensure every student enjoys a fun, responsible night.
