Connecticut's job growth is stalling and unemployment is surpassing the national rate, and business leaders are saying the state's stagnant economy is "policy driven."

While life becomes more unaffordable for families and businesses, Gov. Lamont is doubling down on his anti-growth agenda that will continue to crush industries and burden job creators.

“It has to do with housing policy, it has to do with tax policy, it has to do with tax policy that has not necessarily been able to keep some of the higher-paying businesses… and then at the same time made it somewhat more expensive in order to live here," said CBIA Director Dustin Nord.

This bill is based in science, they said. That's what Democrats want you to believe about SB 503, their latest attempt to rid violent criminals of any accountability, even if they committed a murder, as long as they were under the age of 26. This is the same science that allows children to smoke ma*****na, receive an abortion, and even certain gender transition surgeries.

House Republicans contend that while Democrats are coddling criminals, we should be caring more about the victims of these heinous crimes. Not to mention, where are they getting this so-called science?
