Everywhere she goes, Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas fields panicked questions about whether Connecticut will actually hold an election this November. Don't worry, she says. We'll have an election. Hey, Bridgeport, it'll be secure too.

So when CNN reported that the Department of Homeland Security will investigate voter fraud in CT, Thomas called a news conference. Then she said nothing. The only official in state government we're aware of who employs a staff misinformation czar managed to leave reporters scratching their heads. And voters more confused than she already claims they are.

A no-bid consulting contract that will pay former Education Secretary Miguel Cardona $250,000 has raised ethical questions.

ICE in CT? Democrats fired up their campaign machine immediately. When cops needed guidance on a new law from Democrats? 🦗

“It took a week and reporters’ questions to get Democrats to tell police officers whether standing near a polling place could get them charged with a felony,” [House GOP] Leader Candelora said. “A how-to guide from Governor Lamont for people here illegally went out in hours. Their priorities are out of whack, and taxpayers are paying for it. Connecticut has real problems tied to illegal immigration, and both the governor and legislative Democrats keep pretending their sanctuary state policies and their refusal to work with federal officials have nothing to do with what is happening in Danbury.”

Three top state officials said Wednesday that they are highly concerned about immigrant families after multiple arrests by federal ICE agents in Stamford and Danbury.

The foreign nationals paid the facilitators as much as $100,000 and U.S. citizens received up to $30,000.
