Yesterday, the School of Public Policy welcomed incoming graduate students at UConn Hartford for Student Orientation. Please join us as we applaud Daneya Alvarez (MPA ‘26) and express our gratitude for her work as the School’s content coordinator.

Daneya extended her IPP, beginning in advance of the 2025 Fall semester, in order to help us rethink, rebrand, and reinvigorate our social media channels this past school year.

Avery Holzworth, MPP Class of 2027 at the University of Connecticut’s School of Public Policy, secured a Summer Associate role with the Connecticut Green Bank through applied coursework and connections built at SPP. In her role on the Innovation team, Holzworth focuses on renter-centered energy solutions, using data analysis to inform housing and financing strategies across Connecticut.
