Another fire training in here for us and other local departments!

We would like to thank everyone who donated food, snacks, and drinks to the firefighters yesterday, durning the unfortunate fire. Everyone is safe and thankful for the donations. If you dropped something off it is cleaned up and at the station if you want to pick it back up! Thanks again we appreciate it!

HCFD wrapped up hosting a rope rescue class for Hartford City. Eaton Fire and Muncie Fire was represented in the class as well. It was a great class and we now have firefighters state certified in rope rescue. Great job guys and great work!

Today at rope class we set up a high line to go across open areas. Then we did pick offs and stokes basket work.

Hartford City Fire Department would like to open up the training facility for anyone who wants to come look at it. February 9th at 2:00pm on Gettys Drive in industrial park.
