Christmas greetings from us to all of you!
One year ago this month was the last time we had a musical program for Christmas. So much has happened since then. Because Dale's health was regressing we thought God was leading us to sell, downsize and move. After exploring several options throughout the winter and spring, to which all the doors closed, we took our home/theater off the market in the summer and decided to stay. Shortly thereafter, we discovered a water leak with 3 levels damaged and had a restoration company come in to repair the damage.
The First of November Dale had a fall which resulted in a hip fracture and ended up in Trinity hospital for 2 weeks with surgery recovery and pneumonia then rehab for an additional 2 weeks at Oceana Care Facility in Hart... which was much more convenient for driving.
The great news we have is the little church body that meets here for Sunday worship and Wednesday Bible study. They started the first Sunday in November and have been a huge blessing and ministry to us. Pastor Matthew's job as head of the rehab job in our building, led to the information of him also being a full-time pastor and their church body's 1 1/2 years of praying for a place to meet and reach out to the community led them to choose to meet with us. God sure works in marvelous and mysterious ways!
We are having a Christmas Eve service at 7:00 here and welcome anyone who wishes to join us in worship and music.
May you have a joyful Christmas and may we all be thankful for the Gift of Jesus as our Reason for celebrating this season.
God Bless you all!
Dale and Gail Zieger
