Hi all,
I see my last post resulted in some controversy, GOOD!
To set the record straight, my sincerest apologies to Councilors Gingell and Bailey for the oversight, as they were intrical contributors to our salute to our finest. All Town Councilors were contributors to this successful effort.
To give you a little background, I bent over backwards to envolve the so called other side, to avoid partisanship. After all we should be Burrillville first anything else is secondary!
I reached out to Jeremy, Amanda and Council candidate Mary G before anyone else. This effort was intended to be a Town wide effort to show appreciation and a thank you to our Police, Fire and First Responders. PERIOD.
WE AVOIDED POLITICAL SPEECHES AND PROMOTING ANY CANDIDATE.
All were welcomed and needed to demonstrate the love of our Town and the people that keep us safe.
It's shameful that, other than Council members, we weren't unified to come together to salute our local heroes.
I stand by my statement and I sincerely apologize for slighting my brother and sister on our Town Council.

Hi all,
Our peaceful protest against Police defunding, was a great succes. We love our Police, Fire and first reponders.
The problem was, they was no support from the Democrats..IM VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Our rally was non political. Voters of Burrillville,

Neighbors, Election Day is nearly here and I'm asking your for support. After November 6th, when the results of the election are clear, my wish is that everyone settles down and realize why we run. It seems, some of this political division we see in state and national politics is working into local politics. Being a dedicated public servant for nearly 40 years, my focus has been and remains BURRILLVILLE! I'm asking the successful candidates to drop the loyalty to party and focus that energy into our beautiful town. Drop the D, R & I behind our names and replace it with a large "B" for BURRILLVILLE. In closing, it's been an honor working for you and I hope you will consider supporting me once again to continue serving Burrillville, our lovely home. Thank you, Stephen N Rawson, Town Councilman

Friends and neighbors,
Heading home from Florida today. Preparing for the stretch run for the November election.
There is still Town business left to do and big issues on the horizon for our Town to handle. My years of local involvement with our community, brings a level of experience, knowledge and common sense that has proved to be a great asset to our local government. My unwavering dedication to Burrillville and its people will never wain.
I humbly ask for your support in November to continue the effort.
