Member of our Cass County Memorial VFW and Auxiliary Post 4409 had a great weekend supporting our local community. The Honor Guard joined local first responders and Scouts from Harrisonville's Troop 3 in honoring the 25th Anniversary of Sept 11, 2001. The Post also spent time at Meadow View Health and Rehabilitation center in Harrisonville retiring flags with veterans who live there. The weekend was capped off by the 2nd Annual VFW Auxillary golf tournament held at Hoots Hollow Golf Course. Great times with great Americans.

As the academic year gets under way, please encourage your students, your children, to pen an essay for a chance at a scholarship for thier education. Please reach out if you have any questions. We will be accepting essays up to Oct 13th for local submissions and a chance to be awarded a scholarship from Cass County Memorial VFW Post 4409.
