This gives you the opportunity to get rid of your cull animals as needed and we can get them out of our barn by the end of the day so nothing is left lying around in the heat through the holiday weekend.

Come back next Thursday, September 10 for a regular sale at 2 pm and our monthly State Graded feeder sale at 6 pm.

4 AngusX cows and 1 Roan cow, all with bull calves by their sides. Cows are 3 to 6 years old. Calves are 2 to 3 months old and are eating from a creep feeder.

It seems so cliche to say, "They don't make'em like that anymore."
But in some cases, it's true, as it is here. Legends aren't forgotten and Larry's spirit is still felt around this barn. ๐Ÿ’•
So many years auctioning. Traveling around the county with Pop Chambers looking at cattle and wooing customers, old and new. Larry was the face that met you at the loading dock on Thursday mornings for years. He sat on the weigh-masterโ€™s stool as well as in the auction box. He walked the alleys and sat in the seats as an order buyer. Even after he retired you could find him here on Friday mornings (after his McDonaldโ€™s pow wow with his coffee friends!) discussing all things cattle, dispensing advice and often laughing about something. Always with the signature toothpick in his mouth or in his hand pointing at you if he really meant it!
Larry did a million different things in and for this community and had many different titles. Our favorite by far was friend.
