Love perusing magazines but don't love the price tags? With your library card, you can access thousands of magazines and papers online for FREE at Magzter!

Magzter provides unlimited access to a wide variety of magazines with titles in several languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, and more!

We're a month away from the start of our annual Deyerle Program Series on Local History! Join us at 7PM every Thursday from October 1st to October 29th at Central Library in Harrisonburg for lectures celebrating VA250 with a focus on the Shenandoah Valley.

In the first lecture of the series, Ann Terrell Baker will share how architecture evolved in the early years of Rockingham County. Her presentation will be illustrated with images from her father Isaac Long Terrell’s book, "Old Houses in Rockingham County 1750-1850," her book, "Old Houses in Rockingham County Revisited, 1750-1850," and the accompanying digital collection she collaborated on with MRL.
