Horizons Youth Services (HYS) is a small business and proudly HUBZone-certified, committed to empowering young individuals through education, job training, and life skills development. Since its founding in 1983, HYS is recognized as a leader in youth services, while maintaining its dedication to community impact and innovation. HYS is guided by what we call the “Horizons Way”. Horizons Youth Services has developed and operated many innovative youth programs, including leadership development and leadership training programs. Twice a year, along with sister company Horizons Consulting, HYS facilitates SGA Leadership Conferences for student representatives from regional Job Corps centers. Horizons has also been providing Job Corps Center operations for the U.S. Horizons Youth Services is the prime operator for the Milwaukee Job Corps Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a sub-contractor for the Blue Ridge Job Corps center in Marion, Virginia.

✨ Recently, Milwaukee Job Corps was proud to welcome more than 26 community leaders from 18 organizations to our recent Community Relations Council (CRC) meeting!

🙌 From student success and workforce barriers to hands-on career training and community partnerships, the conversation highlighted the power of working together to create brighter futures for young people.

Special thanks to Student Government Association President Aamer Hill for the warm welcome, Center Director Kevin McKee for sharing the center’s vision, Monica Hackney and Jamie De Jesus Sr. for spotlighting our trade offerings, and student leaders Brandon Evans and others for sharing their Job Corps journeys and career goals.
