From welcoming a new firefighter and celebrating a police promotion to recognizing local organizations that help neighbors in need, the meeting offered a reminder of what makes Harrison such a special place to call home.

As road construction projects continue around the region, the City has received concerns about speeding, stop sign violations, and shortcut traffic moving through residential areas. The Harrison Police Department is reminding motorists why detour routes are important, what traffic laws apply, and how we can all help keep our neighborhoods safe.

💦☀️ Harrison showed up for splash pad opening day, and the photos say it all.

Kids racing through the water, neighbors gathered together, smiles all around, the splash pad ribbon cutting was everything we've been waiting for! Steps away from concerts and community events, the community finally has a space that makes summer in Harrison even better.

A big thank you to the city staff, partners, and community members whose hard work helped bring Harrison’s new splash pad and restroom project to life.

We’ve shared a full gallery of photos from the celebration on The Source. Take a look and see some of the smiles, laughter, and hometown memories from opening day. 👇
