We offer a variety of FREE Child Abuse Prevention Trainings for children and adults alike that are geared to the general public, classrooms, churches, medical professionals, and more.

We are so pleased to welcome Cody Rogers for Arkansas to our CAC family! He came in for a tour of our Berryville center with our Executive Director Michelle Missy Wilson Steiner and asked amazing questions while learning about what we do for child abuse victims. We count ourselves blessed to have him as an advocate for CACs across Arkansas!

CACar is thrilled to announce that we are a recipient of Arkansas’ Rural Health Transformation Program Grant! 🎉

This investment will help expand access to mental health services for children who have experienced abuse—bringing critical, trauma-informed support to more children and families across Arkansas.

We are grateful to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Rural Health Transformation Program committee for recognizing the importance of ensuring children have access to the care they need to heal and thrive.

Hard conversations can save lives; can change lives. Talk to your kids about Human Trafficking, about the risks of talking with just anyone online, at the movies, etc. have questions about how? Ask us or the light, we would be happy to help!

The younger a child is, the more vulnerable they are to predators because they are usually more trusting, lack life experience, can be physically taken advantage of more easily, and often don’t know what red flags to look out for. It’s important to have age appropriate discussions about staying safe no matter how young a child is for this reason. Topics to discuss with younger kids include never interacting with a stranger without a trusted adult present, identifying who is a “safe” adult to go to if they feel scared or uncomfortable, and establishing physical boundaries.
