Friends of Harrison Township Public Library FRIENDS of HTPL show their dedication to the library by organizing & hosting fundraisers. They are located in Prentice Park, the Lake St.

These events are crucial in raising funds to support library programing, ensuring the library continues to offer valuable resources & services to the township. The FRIENDS of Harrison Township Public Library are more than library lovers. The FRIENDS group raises funds to support and expand library services to the Harrison Township community. This is accomplished via a series of fundraisers held th

roughout the year. The FRIENDS also maintain four Book Nooks (little libraries) in the township. Clair Metropark (Metro Beach) playground, outside the McDonald's at Crocker and Metro Parkway, and on the bike path near Metro and Jefferson. The books are free for the taking. Membership meetings are held in the library in January, April, July, and October and begin at 6:30. The FRIENDS is a 503(c)(3) nonprofit organization, established June 26, 2013.
