With over a century of existence, PennAg, the oldest agribusiness trade association in the state, held a gathering for its past presidents. This tradition of gathering past presidents began in 1978, when 22 living past presidents were celebrated at our 100th annual convention, and it continues today.

Last Wednesday, 12 former presidents of the PennAg Board of Directors gathered to reflect on and discuss the organization's past, present, and future, including upcoming leadership plans to guide Pennsylvania agribusiness forward with confidence and purpose.

Each president has left their distinct mark, strengthening our organization to meet today's agricultural challenges. On behalf of the membership and staff, thank you for your commitment to PennAg and the leadership you have provided along the way. ✨

Last August, Michelle joined the PennAg team, and since day one, she has been an invaluable part of our team. With each new day, Michelle embraces it with a smile and a can-do attitude! Thanks to her top-notch accounting and organizational skills and her attention to detail, she has helped keep office operations for the staff and membership running.

🌱 🤝 Sowing Strong Partnerships. 🌱 🤝

PennAg President Chris Herr and the staff at PennAg had the pleasure of meeting with the new 2026-2027 Pennsylvania FFA State Officer team and staff. The new officers spent the day with PennAg learning about the critical work the organization does to serve its over 400 agribusiness members in Harrisburg and beyond, including how PennAg advocates for the industry to meet challenges such as Avian Influenza, transportation and environmental regulations, and more facing those in today's agriculture. 💼🐔🌱🚜

PennAg staff also gained valuable insights into the next generation of agricultural leaders, their aspirations for learning from industry leaders, and their future goals for Pennsylvania FFA membership. We wish this team the best as they each begin their journeys as State Officers!

Invest in Pennsylvania's Next Generation of Poultry Leaders at Annual PennAg Fundraiser!

The PennAg Poultry Council invites all those in the poultry industry, including PennAg members and allied industries, to join them for a day of fun, networking, and supporting future poultry industry leaders at their 2026 Poultry Scholarship Shoot fundraiser held at Warriors Mark Wingshooting in Houtzdale.

All proceeds of the shoot benefit the poultry scholarship fund! 💸 🐥
