We all play a part in a person’s recovery journey. Our office is proud of LETI because it makes sure counties do what's best for them and their communities.

National Recovery Month is a reminder that recovery is possible, and that no one should have to walk that path alone.

Many counties participate in the Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative (LETI), a statewide partnership that helps individuals struggling with substance use disorder or behavioral health challenges access treatment instead of facing criminal prosecution. LETI puts people on a path toward recovery. In turn it reduces recidivism and protects our communities.

As prosecutors, we offer respect and encouragement to every Pennsylvanian on a recovery journey and reaffirm our commitment to programs that save lives, support families, and build safer communities.

Last month we sued Snapchat because we believe they are ignoring their duty to protect the users of their app, especially children. Our goal is simple: empower parents with necessary information about the apps their children are using AND protecting kids from misleading and harmful apps.
