The Office of Victim Advocate (OVA) is the state office with the duty and authority to advocate for the individual and collective rights and needs of crime survivors. We accomplish our mission through victim services, which includes notifications of offender status; restorative justice programs that promote resilience and healing; and we are currently developing new initiatives around crime prevention.
