🚨On May 30, 2026, at around 6:37 PM, the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police responded to a vehicle crash with injuries in the 5800 block of Linglestown Road. The incident involved two eastbound vehicles, one with a single occupant, later identified as Chandra Basnet, and the other with a driver and passenger. From May 11 through May 31, law enforcement agencies across the country are participating in the national Click It or Ticket campaign to remind drivers and passengers that seat belts save lives.

Wearing your seat belt is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect yourself in a crash. Day or night, front seat or back seat β€” buckle up every trip, every time.

πŸ“Š Seat belts reduce the risk of serious injury and death in crashes, yet too many people still travel unrestrained. During this campaign, officers will be actively enforcing seat belt laws to help keep our roads safe.πŸš—πŸ’™

βœ… Buckle up
βœ… Make sure children are properly restrained
βœ… Put phones away and drive distraction-free
βœ… Encourage everyone in your vehicle to wear their seat belt
