🔔 1st Alarm

City units were dispatched to midtown in the 900 Block of N 3rd St for a reported fire on the 2nd floor. City PD arrived with smoke in the street and county advised of a hearing impaired resident on the 3rd floor. Initial companies arrived with fire showing from the rear 2nd floor window. Chief 5 (Lloyd) upgraded to 1st alarm. Uptown, Wagon 3 made a quick hit on this fire which was held to the apartment. During initial searches the hearing impaired resident was located and assisted down the fire escape. City units operated for 1 hour. The B Platoon at work.

🔔 1st Alarm, Box 30-2

Tower 1 and Wagon 4 worked a 1st alarm fire in the 2300 block of Boas St in Penbrook Borough. Tower 1 arrived with a rear 2nd floor porch on fire extending inside. The fire was knocked down quickly with 2 PW cans. Wagon 4 stretched a line to the rear to mop up and assist with opening up. Crews made quick work and returned to the city shortly after. A Platoon hosted a gathering to celebrate the retirement of Tower 1 driver John Matson badge #56 after 20 years of service to the City of Harrisburg. A Platoon also honored Lt. Matt K***z badge #403 on his future retirement after 23 years of service to the City of Harrisburg. Congratulations to you both, well done!

🔔 1st Alarm

5-19-26

Chief 7 (Bastinelli) striking the 1st Alarm on box 1-2 in the 1700 block of State Street. This is 1 block from station 2. Chief 7 arrived with a 3 story ordinary with fire showing from the first floor and people still in the building. All city companies are working with mutual aid from Tower 32, Cumberland Air 13 and. York Rescue 69.
