Today is the 82nd anniversary of D-Day.

On June 6, 1944, the Allies launched the largest amphibious invasion in history, engaging the forces of N**i Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. Over 9,000 Allied soldiers were killed, wounded, or missing in the landings, which marked a turning point in the war, leading to the liberation of western Europe, and the downfall of N**i Germany.

May we never forget the courage and sacrifice of these brave soldiers.
