The women of Junior League of Harrisburg never disappoint!♥️ At their latest membership meeting, they assembled 100 period packets for the 1 in 3 low-income women facing period poverty in our community.

You can help us end period poverty by hosting your own period packing party. We provide 100 packets and 100 labels. You provide the period products that can be found on our Amazon wishlist.

This November, The Junior League of Harrisburg is launching our 2025-26 League Focus: food insecurity. While we will be spending the year learning, collaborating, and creating actionable steps we can take, we recognize there is a need for us to step up in our community right NOW. With the federal government shut down and cuts to SNAP benefits many local restaurants, businesses, and companies have offered a lending hand with discounts, free meals, and assistance. Help us compile a list of these places (in Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry counties) that we can socialize to our community members to highlight the work you're doing and offer them direction! We will post and update the list as we receive recommendations! The Junior League of Harrisburg thanks you!

Last night the Junior League of Harrisburg participated in the Paxtang Lions Club 88th annual Halloween Parade! We were thrilled to see so many faces in our community come together for such a fun event! We enjoyed seeing all the costumes and most importantly handing out candy! We can't wait for next year already! 🎃👻💀

Whether you're looking for fun & friendship, a sense of community, finding a new way to give back, or a combination of all 3, the Junior League of Harrisburg has something for you!

We are a group of women from many backgrounds & experiences that work together to develop civic leadership skills & gain the tools needed to put our unique talents to work in our community! Many of our members own local businesses, sit on other boards, and are involved in many other community action groups.

Our membership is open year-round to women 21+ who live in Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry counties. We meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of every month August through May at various locations as well as participate in many volunteer and social outings throughout each month!
