September is here!

Let’s start the month by showing some love for the George and Hettie Love Memorial Library. Also known as Love Memorial Library, this Dauphin County Library branch is a popular choice for families, especially for storytime. Staff work hard to keep it cozy and welcoming, and they have built a strong connection with their members. With games, puzzles, and lots of books on offer, Love Memorial Library is a nice, quiet place to spend your day.

If you find yourself down-county consider making a pit stop at Love Memorial Library!

On August 25th, we lost singer-songwriter and childhood literacy advocate Dolly Parton. In her memory, the East Shore Area Library created a display honoring her and the meaningful work that she did throughout her life.

Her Imagination Library has gifted over 330 million books to children in need since 1995, and her values of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to resonate with librarians for years to come.

Thanks, Dolly 💕
