While the halls may be quiet this summer, our amazing custodial staff is hard at work making sure every classroom, hallway, and common area is spotless and ready for the new school year! 💪🧼🧹

From scrubbing floors to moving furniture and everything in between, their dedication doesn't go unnoticed. They are the behind-the-scenes heroes who keep our school shining!

Hickory Ridge Middle School competed this month in both regional and state competition for Quiz Bowl, and our team…

…ranked FIRST in regionals, and this past Saturday, they placed SECOND IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP for the first time ever!

We are very proud of our students and the work they put in, and they couldn’t have done it without coaches Raines and Platt leading the way. Fantastic job, Mavericks!!

Our Maverick MathCounts team has advanced to the NC State Finals on March 14, 2025, hosted at the NC School of Science and Math. This event presents a fantastic chance for them to showcase their mathematical prowess against top-tier students from around the state. We are immensely proud of their dedication and are backing them as they gear up for both individual and group competitions that challenge their ingenuity and analytical thinking.
