As Uncle Sam says, WE WANT YOU!! We will be filling the positions of: Chair, 1st Vice-Chair, 2nd Vice-Chair, 3rd Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. You’ll find a copy of the Duties of the offices at the bottom of the Nomination Form. Please read over these descriptions to find your best fit!! There will be a few questions on the application about the duties included.

The link to the application is included in the Google Form below. All information is CONFIDENTIAL and will only be shared with members of the NomComm.

The DEADLINE to fill out the application is Wednesday, May 19th at 8 PM.

A HUGE congratulations to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris!!! This is a historic moment for women in the United States. Your voice and vote matters and we will continue to do amazing things for this country. And the CCDW is not done! Although we did not see the results we wanted on the state and local level, we have a lot of hope for NC and Cabarrus county and will depend on you over the next few years to keep the momentum going. A big shout out to Aimy Steele for NC House 82 and Gail Young for North Carolina for putting themselves out there, getting LOTS of votes and inspiring the women and girls of Cabarrus. Thank you for running on platforms of equality, honesty and justice, you inspire us all!

ATTENTION: We are working to resolve a ballot issue that affects 50 voters (we have exact names). If you voted at Hickory Ridge Middle in Harrisburg between 6:30 and 7:26 a.m., your ballot did not include the 83rd District NC House race. Your ballot COUNTS; however, you are encouraged to return to the site and cast a provisional ballot for the House race only by 7:30 p.m.

The Cabarrus County Democrats are looking for people to stand outside the polls in shifts on election day, offering Democrat information to voters, and also observing everything in order to report any voter concerns like voter suppression.
