Susquehanna Township Parks & Recreation offers a full variety of quality activities and programs for all ages in Susquehanna Township and other nearby neighborhoods. From summer programs, to sports camps, to special interest classes, you are sure to find something that suits your recreational needs. Our mission is to enhance the quality life for all residents and to provide safe and clean parks and recreational facilities. We maintain 9 parks in the township and we invite everyone to come out and enjoy all we have to offer!

Help us find Susquehanna Township’s pollinators!

We’re trying to document as many pollinators in Susquehanna Township as possible, and we need your help!

Using the FREE iNaturalist app, you can snap a photo of pollinators you spot and add them to our BioBlitz project. Nothing fancy is required, pollinators are all around us, including right in your own backyard! 🐝📸🌿

Want to join us in person? We’ll be hosting BioBlitz events THIS FRIDAY!

Can’t make it? No worries! The BioBlitz runs all month long in September, so you can participate whenever and wherever it works for you.

A New Playground Is Coming to Beaufort Hunt Park!

We’re excited to share that Beaufort Hunt Park will be getting a brand-new playground this fall! Installation is anticipated for mid to late October, bringing an enhanced play experience to our community.

This exciting improvement is made possible through funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and the Susquehanna Township Developers Recreation Fund.

We can’t wait to see our residents enjoying the new playground!

During the month of September help us find and identify as many species as possible in Susquehanna Township to create a snapshot of our area’s biodiversity!

It's super easy - just download the iNaturalist app and from September 1 - 30 take pictures of what you find, upload them to the iNaturalist site or app and be included in our project!
