We are pleased to announce upcoming Mandated Reporter Training sessions on Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse, featuring both American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters and Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDI)!

September 16 | 1pm-4pm

September 22 | 9am-12pm

October 21 | 9am-12pm

October 27 | 9am-12pm

These three-hour live, virtual trainings are approved by the Department of Human Services, Education, and State and meet all requirements for training on recognizing and reporting child abuse (to include Act 126 for school employees).

These trainings are also approved for continuing education credits under Act 31 (Department of State for health-related licenses) and Act 48 (Department of Education for teachers) at no cost.

HAPPY WORKIVERSARY to our Director of Prevention Programs, Justin Donofrio!

Today we celebrate Justin’s SIX years of commitment to PFSA. In his role, Justin leads PFSA’s prevention-related services and programs, working alongside community-based organizations across the state to strengthen the network of supports and services available to children and families.

Anyone can report suspected child abuse. You don’t have to work with children or be a mandated reporter to call ChildLine and report suspected abuse.

Say something to save a life. If you're in Pennsylvania, report child abuse and neglect by calling ChildLine at 800-932-0313.

ChildLine provides information, counseling, and referral services for families and children to ensure the safety and well-being of children in Pennsylvania. The toll-free intake line is available 24/7 to receive reports of suspected child abuse.
