Join the HCL for a Teen & Adult Craft: Mini Rock Garden on Tuesday, June 9 at 6pm! Participants will be able to craft their own mini rock garden - perfect to brighten up small spaces.

This is a free event and is open to ages 12+. Seats are limited, so registration is required. You can register on our website (harrisburg.yoursdlibrary.org/calendar), by calling us at 605-767-7910, or by stopping in the library.

Interested in trying new spices and recipes from around the world? Then join the HCL's Spice of the Month Club! Each month you can sign up to receive a bit of history about the spice, a recipe to try, and a sample of the featured spice (enough for the given recipe!).

The June spice is… cumin!

Join the HCL and the Harrisburg Disability Awareness Commission on Sunday, June 7 at 11 at Lake Ole to try out the Action TrackChairs from South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks. Trackchairs® are tracked wheelchairs that provide comfort, stability, and safety for outdoor users whether they are hunting, fishing, or simply looking to get outside in areas they would normally not be able to access.

We will also be hosting our Community Conversation to discuss how we can make the library more accessible for all! So please feel free to stop by, even if you're not taking the TrackChair for a spin!

Our Kids' Craft series starts next Tuesday! Each week we'll offer a different craft under the theme Unearth a Story.
