***Free Fishing Weekend at the Memorial Park Lagoon***
Tournament starts at 8:00 a.m. On Saturday, June 8th, 2013
June 8th and 9th, 2013 20 Tagged fish will be placed the lagoon. Find one and win a prize!!!! While we all love fish, please do not bring your tagged fish into the park office, only the tag from your fish. :):)

BIG NEWS! ATTN: Local Businesses!! Market your business with us! ADVERTISING SPACE in our Summer 2013 Parks and Recreation Program is available!!! Business card size ad is $20.00, 1/2 page ad is $35.00, Full page ad is $50.00.. The guide will be distributed to over 6,000 people and will be ready for distribution in early May!! Each business must design their own ad and it will be subject to approval by the Park Board. Interested? Email [email protected] or call the Park Office at 618-252-2111:)

BREAKING PARK NEWS!!! It's OFFICIAL ! Our Park District has received an OUTDOOR FITNESS EQUIPMENT GRANT made possible by KABOOM! and the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group as part of it's Let's Play initiative to get kids and families active nationwide! We are looking forward to transforming our Memorial Park in to a fitness and play area for all ages!! Thank you to Ron Emery and the Park Board for their hard work on this project!! :):)
