🚨 Yard signs are here; 🚨

and this Wolf needs to mark his territory. 🐺 🇺🇸

I don’t have volunteers out doing this for me. When you message for a sign, it’s ME who shows up. I’ll bring it to your yard, put it in the ground, and if you want to shake my hand and talk for a minute, I’d genuinely love that.

I know I’m not going to win this seat because of the letter after my name. I’m going to win it the old-fashioned way — by showing up, working hard, and helping my neighbors.

Tim Rhead for District 16, pass the word!

Tim Rhead has officially announced his candidacy for the South Dakota House of Representatives in District 16 as a Democrat.

Born and raised in Canton, SD, Rhead has lived in District 16 his entire life. He has been farming since he could walk and understands the responsibility and resilience that come with rural life. After graduating from Canton High School, Rhead proudly served in the South Dakota Army National Guard. When he returned home, he went to work, earning a degree in education while working as a manufacturer at Fastek.

Rhead spent the next 28 years serving his community through public education. He taught for 12 years before earning his Educational Specialist degree and becoming superintendent and elementary school principal at the Alcester-Hudson School District. Over the course of his career, he coached multiple sports, mentored young people, and helped countless students succeed in school and life. Rhead will retire from education this year.

As a farmer, educator, and veteran, Rhead understands the people of South Dakota because he has lived their experiences. Having spent his entire life in rural South Dakota, he knows the challenges facing small towns, working families, and local schools. Rhead has seen firsthand how strong agriculture and schools are the foundation of thriving rural communities. He is running for the Legislature to bring practical experience, steady leadership, and a strong work ethic to Pierre, and to help improve the quality of life for South Dakota’s small-town communities.

Rhead currently lives with his wife, Callie Rhead. They have three children: Marcus, Keandra, and Veronica.

District 16 includes parts of Lincoln, Turner, and Union Counties.
