We would like to insure residents that there will not be any protests here. If one person even thinks about picking up a rock, we will be on you like white on rice.

As per our policy, we are required 48 hrs to think about enforcing any violation of this policy.

Sorry for the lack of police reports from over the weekend. We want to be as transparent as possible for the community. But, we also didn't want to do anything.

On Saturday morning, 29 July 1000, we received a report of a naked individual running through Fareway. Reports also state he fell in the Crisco isle.

Given the conditions of the incident (nakedness and slicked up from Crisco) the responding officer shot the individual.

We take police brutality with all seriousness. It is department policy for officers to shoot on scene if it involves slippery naked people. Officer safety. SOP 1.01 - Any officer who responds to a naked individual covered in Crisco, shall shoot (non-lethal location on body) said individual.

Hell, when we put the policy in place, we never expected the specific scenario to happen. But to everyone's surprise, here we are!

We responded to an individual stuck in the Casey's bathroom.

They have been transferred to Sanford, given the conditions of the bathroom. They are expected to recover.

If you have an emergency, call Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. You'd have a way better response from them than you would from us. In fact, if you don't have an emergency, still call them.
