Tonight we are honored to have Mr. Charlie Gerow, the Founder and President of Quantum Communications and nationally recognized political analyst, as our guest speaker. Mr. Gerow also appears on the CBS 21 program "Face the State" interviewing guests from government and politics. All delegates are asked to arrive at 6:45pm and proceed to the auditorium for the joint session.

REMINDER....there is NO Youth and Government meeting tomorrow night (September 10th)! Your officers will be attending several Back to School Nights at local middle schools to help recruit new members. Please remember that next week is our Open House! All delegates are expected to attend and be prepared to meet and greet interested students and their parents.

We are 24 hours away from Opening Night 2014!!! Please remember to bring with you: 1) the meeting agenda 2) notebook 3) pen/pencil. We have a BUSY agenda including the election of your executive officers! New recruits are welcome to attend, but, will not be permitted to vote in the elections. Please make sure ALL returning members are notified that the meeting is 7-9. See you all tomorrow night!!! :)

OPENING NIGHT is 2 weeks from tonight!!!! Please mark your calendars for Wednesday nights beginning August 27th for the 2014-2015 Youth and Government Program year. The first meeting will be from 7pm until 9pm and include officer candidate preparation; registration forms; recruitment strategies; and club organization. Get the word out to ALL returning members!!!

Reminder.....Tuesday, July 22nd is the fundraiser at Sh**un Fusion! Please do your part by spreading the word to your family, friends and neighbors!!! This event will only be as successful as you make it through your own efforts. Gloria Lawrence has single-handedly organized it so let's reward her hard work by packing the restaurant on the 22nd!!

FYI...if ESY delegates who helped with Healthy Kids Day and the spaghetti dinner don't soon check your e-mails, you will be missing out on a special opportunity!!! You've been warned!!! :)
