This weekend, the Harriman Police Department held our Teen Driver Safety course for high school students. During this course, students learned about the rules of the road, distracted driving, impaired driving and more. All the students had a great time utilizing the impaired driving goggles.

Special thanks go out to Becky Goodman for sharing her experience about the impact an impaired driver made in her life. Thank you to all the students and we look forward to seeing students again in the future!

The City of Harriman and Harriman, TN Police Department are incredibly grateful to the KTG Foundation for generously providing sensory bags to our Harriman Police Department.

These bags are an important resource that help officers better support residents who may experience sensory sensitivities, including individuals with autism, developmental differences, anxiety, or those facing overwhelming situations.

Each bag can offer comfort tools and calming items that help reduce stress during interactions, making moments that may feel overwhelming a little easier and more manageable.

This is more than a donation — it is an investment in compassion, understanding, and the well-being of our residents.

By equipping our officers with these resources, we are continuing to build a city that meets people where they are and responds with care.

Thank you to the KTG Foundation for helping us create a safer, more supportive Harriman for everyone. đź’™ KTG Foundation
