BULK TRASH NEXT WEEK

June 15th through the 18th.

Bulk trash day is the same day as your regular trash day.

We ask that you take the time to read through the guidelines to ensure that your stuff gets picked up.
The Resident does not need to give prior notice of any bulk trash to pick up, simply place the items next to the curb but not against your cart.

The limit is three (3) cubic yards or twenty (20) lawn bags, Bags are not to exceed forty (40) pounds each. If the Residence exceeds three (3) cubic yards, you may incur a $15 surcharge per additional cubic yard.

The Resident must cut down all carpet and tree limbs or branches to four-foot sections and bundle with string or twine. Bundles must not be more than three (3) feet in diameter and must not exceed forty (40) pounds per bundle. If the Resident does not bundle carpets, limbs or branches in accordance with the guidelines, you may incur a $15 surcharge.

The Resident must break down all boxes and bundle with tape, string or twine. If the Resident does not break down and bundle boxes in accordance with the guidelines, you may incur a $15 surcharge.

DO NOT place any bulk or extra trash against your cart. Carts must be free for your normal route truck to be able to pick up. Bulk trash will be picked up by a separate truck sometime during the day, not necessarily at the same time as your polycart.

DO NOT place paints, stains, oils, gas, propane cylinders or bottles, compressors, tires or any hazardous material with your bulk trash. Any of these items will be left.

Water Maintenance Notice for Monday, June 15

The City of Harrah will be conducting scheduled water system maintenance in the area shown on the attached map on Monday, June 15.

Water service will be temporarily shut off beginning at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to last approximately 6 hours.

Those in the affected area are encouraged to plan accordingly and store any water needed during the outage.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these necessary improvements to our water system. If you have any questions, please contact City Hall.

Street Closure Notice – Thursday, June 11th.

Portions of Main Street and the adjoining alley along with a portion of Elm Street will be closed (as depicted on the map in red) on Thursday, June 11th for the Harrah Bike Night Event.

The event times are from approximately 6 to 10 PM with street closures beginning at approximately 5:30 pm.
