The following is a Message from the Mayor:

To the Citizens of Harpers Ferry -
This week I have shared information with the Town Council and our citizens at our regular monthly meeting, March 9, 2020 and a special announcement at the beginning of the special meeting March 11, 2020.
Not all citizens attend our Town meetings, so this notice is being emailed and posted at Town Hall so our citizens can get current information regarding the spread of the Coronavirus and precautions that should be taken, including when to seek treatment.
Please review the 2 links below and follow the daily National news announcements and directions issued from the State of West Virginia and Jefferson County.
The Town will immediately implement daily cleaning of surfaces at the Town Hall as a common-sense approach to protect our Citizens and Employees. I plan to implement special work Policies and Procedures for our Town staff, so they are informed while performing their daily duties.
Please contact the Town Hall with any questions. We all hope this health threat will pass in the coming weeks.
Sincerely,
Mayor Bishop
