🧗 Today was Rappel Day at JROTC Cadet Leadership Camp! Our cadets showed courage, determination, and confidence as they took on the challenge and stepped outside their comfort zones. We are proud of the way they represented themselves and our program while embracing new experiences and pushing their limits. Great job, cadets! 🇺🇸👏

Today at Cadet Leadership Camp, our BCHS cadets completed the “Confidence Course.” This obstacle course is intended for just that; to build confidence in themselves as well as their training. This 10 obstacle course tested the mental and physical toughness of each cadet as they negotiated each obstacle as individuals while completing each one as a TEAM! Keep up the good work!

💪🇺🇸 Our JROTC cadets are spending the week at Cadet Leadership Camp, a challenging 5-day experience designed to develop leadership, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and confidence. Throughout the week, cadets step outside their comfort zones while participating in activities such as land navigation, rafting, rappelling, water survival, field survival, rope bridge construction, and leadership reaction courses. They are also experiencing military life by staying in barracks and dining in a military dining facility.

One of the many challenges they faced was the “Runaway Bridge” on the Field Leadership Reaction Course. Cadets had to cross the bridge one at a time, working together to maintain balance. If either side tipped into the “water,” the entire team had to start over! Challenges like these teach perseverance, communication, and the importance of teamwork.

We are proud of our cadets for embracing these opportunities and demonstrating outstanding leadership and determination! 👏🦅
