I’ve hidden 18 numbered eggs around the library! 🥚🔍
If you find one, bring it to Ms. Mendoza to trade it in for a sweet little treat! 🍬✨

We’ll also have:
• A fun egg-coloring Makerspace activity 🎨
• A visit from a special guest (hint: they’re fluffy and love carrots!) 🐰🥕

Using Adobe Express, they brought their inspiring ideas to life, spreading positivity through digital art. Our Owls continue to support and uplift each other—because a few kind words can make all the difference! 💙🦉✨

The Harlingen Collegiate High ILC hosted a Monarch Butterfly Release today as part of a conservation effort for the dwindling monarch population. In late September, we welcomed monarch larvae into our library, where students had the opportunity to observe their transformation into beautiful butterflies. This is our journey 💖🌼🦋
Our ILC is not just a space for literacy; it’s also a place that inspires students to become agents of change and make a positive impact on the world. From this experience our students learned that even the smallest actions can lead to significant change! 🌎🌿💚 A heartfelt thank you to all the students and staff who cared for our little friends! Together, we’re making a difference!🦉🧡

Exciting update from the Butterfly Center at the Harlingen Collegiate High ILC! 🐛✨Our little caterpillars are about to molt their skin and enter the 2nd instar stage, where they’ll grow to be 6-9mm long! Each instar stage lasts 2-3 days, and our students are learning valuable lessons from these tiny creatures—showing us that change is necessary to grow stronger. 💪🦋
These caterpillars have become a wonderful addition to our campus culture, and we want to thank all the students and staff who have taken the time to visit and spend some time with our hungry friends. We're so excited to see them grow into beautiful monarch butterflies! 🦋💚

Exciting news, Harlingen Collegiate Owls! 🦋 This month at the HCH library, we’re helping save endangered monarch butterflies by caring for some very hungry little friends until they transform into beautiful butterflies for release. 🐛🌱 Don't forget to decorate a butterfly and submit it to ILC for our September contest! Together, we can make the world better, one kind action at a time! 💚
