Congratulations to Chloe Silva, our Raven Cheerleader of the Week! 📣🖤

Chloe showed what it means to be a Raven this week through her hard work, dedication, and school pride. She did an amazing job representing our cheer program during our 9/11 remembrance ceremony, showing respect and maturity on such an important day. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Her dedication during the planning process was amazing.

She also brought the energy, smiles, and Raven spirit to the sidelines at this week’s football game! 🏈📣✨

🇺🇸 Remembering 25 Years 🇺🇸

Today, our Cano Ravens came together for a special 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony, prepared by our Student Council, Freshman Class, and Cheerleaders. Our students did an outstanding job leading this meaningful event. ❤️🤍💙

We were honored to have our firefighters, police officers, and school nurses join us. JROTC presented the colors, our Cheerleaders sang the National Anthem, and Ravens for Christ led us in prayer.

As part of our remembrance, flags displaying the names of those who lost their lives on September 11 were placed along our cafeteria windows, creating a meaningful tribute for our students and staff to see and reflect upon. 🇺🇸

We are so proud of our Ravens for showing leadership, respect, and gratitude as we honored the heroes and remembered the lives lost 25 years ago.

🥔🧪 Potato & Liver Enzyme Lab! 🔬

Our Biology students put science into action as they investigated how temperature and pH affect enzyme activity using catalase found in potatoes and liver! Students tested different conditions and measured the height of the foam produced as evidence of enzyme activity. 🧬

This hands-on lab was a great way for our Ravens to connect enzymes, chemical reactions, and environmental conditions to what they’ve been learning in the classroom. We love seeing our students learning through exploration and experimentation! 💙💛

🧪🔬 Science came alive in Biology class this week!

Our Ravens conducted a catalase enzyme lab, investigating how changes in temperature and pH affect enzyme function. This hands-on experiment gave students the opportunity to connect classroom concepts to real-world biological processes.

We love seeing our students engaged, asking questions, making observations, and thinking like scientists! 🧬✨
