Today at our end-of-year staff luncheon, we enjoyed a delicious lunch, played games, shared laughs, and celebrated some very special individuals who have served Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District with passion, dedication, and purpose.

This past week, we celebrated our K-5 Q4 and End-of-Year Award Ceremony, and we could not be more proud of our students! We have seen so much growth, dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence throughout the school year. Congratulations to all of our students on their accomplishments and hard work.

History made 🎢✨ Our 8th grade scholars enjoyed the first-ever 8th grade class trip to Six Flags! A day full of fun, memories, and celebrating all they’ve accomplished. We’re so proud of this group and can’t wait to see what’s next! ❤️💙

On Wednesday, we celebrated our 5th Grade Promotion and the incredible accomplishments of our students. We are so proud of each and every one of them and cannot wait to see all they accomplish in middle school and beyond. Congratulations, 5th graders, and best of luck on your next chapter!

A huge thank you to our families and parents for your constant love, support, and encouragement throughout the years. Thank you to our amazing 5th grade teachers, as well as every teacher who helped guide and prepare these students along the way for this important milestone.

We would also like to thank Vernon Middle School and their staff for graciously allowing us to use their space for such a special evening. 💙🎓

🌟 Congratulations to our Golden Scholars! These scholars earned a special field trip after demonstrating a year’s worth of growth in RLA, Math, and Science. Scholars enjoyed games, snacks, and drinks as we celebrated their hard work and achievement sponsored by the National Junior Honor Society.

A special thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Harlingen for helping make this experience memorable for our scholars! 💛🏆

Travis STEM² scholars had the incredible opportunity to participate in the TSTC Challenger Experience before leaving for the summer. Students rotated through different mission roles as they showcased their skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.

Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District continues to provide unique and impactful opportunities for students to grow and explore as they guide students to be the CHAMPIONS of their future.

🏐 HISTORY MADE! 🏐

A long-standing grades 6–8 tradition had a new ending this year… for the FIRST TIME EVER, the students defeated the teachers in our Teachers vs. Students Volleyball Game! 🎉👏

Congratulations to our scholars for bringing the energy, teamwork, and school spirit to earn a place in school history. Now the question is… can they defend the title next year? 👀🏐
