Street Closure Affecting Arrivals and Drop-Offs Starting Monday, Sept. 14!
Good afternoon,
Please see the attached image from the City of Harlingen regarding an upcoming street closure that will impact through traffic on Polk Avenue in front of our campus. Parents and staff will still be able to enter and exit the circular drive; however, due to the street closure, the crosswalk on Polk Avenue will not be accessible during this time. The City has advised us that work will begin on Monday but has not provided an estimated duration for the closure. We will continue to share updates as we receive additional information. Please plan accordingly and use extra caution when traveling around the campus during arrival and dismissal.

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and cooperation as we work together to ensure the safety of our students, families, and staff.

Travis STEM² Academy is celebrating International Dot Day on Tuesday, September 15th! 🎨✨

Students and staff are invited to dress in dots—polka dots, dot shirts, dot dresses, dot socks, or anything covered in dots!

International Dot Day is all about creativity, courage, and celebrating the unique mark each of us can make on the world. ❤️

So much learning and fun happening in Ms. Castellanos’ Kindergarten class! 🪱🦋📖✨
Our little scientists explored superworms and preserved monarch butterflies, observing their unique characteristics and how they live. Students also practiced important early literacy skills by reading with partners, following text from left to right and top to bottom, and counting the words in sentences with a fun stamping activity! 📝🔢
We love seeing our Kinder students explore, discover, and grow their love for learning! ❤️🌟
