🚔💙 Harlingen, We Heard You! 💙🚔

When we launched our original "I Support Harlingen Police" shirts, many community members told us they loved the design but felt the price was a little too high. We listened.

We're excited to announce that we've partnered with a local Harlingen vendor V&M Prints, to bring the shirts back at a more affordable price!

👕 Cotton Blend Shirt – $20
👕 Dri-Fit Performance Shirt – $20

Not only are the shirts more affordable, but purchasing through a local vendor means faster turnaround times while supporting a local business.

These shirts are more than just apparel—they are a visible sign of support for the officers who serve our community every day. Every time someone wears one around town, it helps show that Harlingen stands together and supports those who work hard to keep our city safe.

We invite you to grab a shirt for yourself, your family, and your friends. Then help us spread the word by sharing this post and encouraging others to join in.

📢 Here's how you can help:
✅ Purchase a shirt
✅ Share the online store link
✅ Tag friends and family who support HPD
✅ Wear your shirt proudly around town

Let's fill Harlingen with blue and show the strength of our community support!

💙 Thank you for standing with the Harlingen Police Department.

Things to look forward to:
- Graduating and grad parties
- Memorial Day celebrations
- Spending time in jail for a DWI

Wait, what? No one is looking forward to that last one, but with all these celebrations, it can be a possibility. A DWI could change your life, and it could change someone else’s, too.
There are many ways we can keep the celebrations going and protect ourselves and each other during these fun times. For starters, you can designate a driver who won’t be drinking any alcohol or taking any other kind of drug—someone who will stay completely sober and can give you a ride.

If you can’t get a sober ride from someone you know, choose one of these options:
· Call a rideshare or taxi service.
· Take public transit.
· Stay put until you’re sober.

No matter where you’re celebrating, there’s always a way to get there safely without endangering yourself or others. Driving after consuming any amount of alcohol or drugs can impair your driving. You can face legal, financial, and emotional strain that can follow
you for years. A crash can devastate the lives of victims and their families forever.

A DWI can cost you in many other ways, too:

• Up to $17,000 in fines and fees, jail time, and loss of your driver’s license.
• Community service, court appearances, and court-ordered classes.
• Probation that may also include regular drug and alcohol tests or having a· breathalyzer installed in your car to start it.
• Difficulty finding or keeping a job, loss of trust from loved ones, and a lifetime of regret.

Also, Texas House Bill 393 mandates that someone convicted of intoxication manslaughter must pay restitution to support the children of their victims. These payments will last until the child is 18 years old.

There’s too much at stake, and the risk is simply not worth it. There are many celebrations to be had. Drive sober to make sure that you’ll be at all of them. Drive Sober. No Regrets.
