Fort Gordon September 11th Remembrance Ceremony

Fort Gordon is hosting a Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, to honor the fallen, first responders, and survivors of the terrorist attacks of 9/11. The event will take place in Freedom Park (adjacent to the Woodworth Library) and will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. DOW-ID cardholders / Fort Gordon community members are welcome to attend.

***For community awareness – the main ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes and will feature cannon fire and sirens. Additional cannon volleys signifying the time of each crash will continue through 10:03 a.m.
