There is a wide spread water outage affecting many areas and businesses in the County, including the Justice Center.

We would like to thank The KCTCS Harlan Campus for inviting our office to participate in their Trunk or Treat today. Linda and Jamie enjoyed handing out candy to all of the kids!

Today was a day of mixed emotions for all of us in the Clerk’s Office. I am absolutely thrilled for you to be able to finally retire after you have given us your blood, sweat, and tears for 21 years, but yet so sad that there will be an empty desk without your presence. You have always been by my side through it all…..all the tough campaigns you knocked on doors with me, sacrificed time with your family, for me……but so sad that there will be an empty desk without your presence. You have kept us all in line, (including me 😂)and I can’t seem to find the appropriate words today to say thank you.

You are, and have always been, more than a coworker and a friend….. you are family. And I am so blessed to have gotten to work with you all these years. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you, Debbie. Thank you, truly. You have a heart and soul like no other and you have enriched my life tremendously just by knowing you.

I pray you enjoy every moment of your retirement because nobody deserves this more than you do. Now it’s time to take care of you……I love you so much ❤️
