Boil Water Advisory Lifted – Harlan Area

We are pleased to inform you that the boil water advisory for the Harlan area has been lifted. The water is now safe for normal use.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this update with your friends and neighbors, as our office staff is out of the office for the weekend and individual phone calls will not be made to each home.

Water repairs have been completed, and service is now being restored.

Please remember that a boil water advisory is in effect for at least the next 48 hours. During that time, we are required to pass two consecutive days of E. coli water sample testing before the advisory can be lifted.

We will send another notification as soon as the advisory has been lifted.

Water Service Notice
We have begun to shut water services off early to complete necessary repairs. Due to weather conditions, this work is beginning earlier than originally planned.

Water service is expected to be off for approximately 1–2 hours.

We will send another notification as soon as service has been restored.

Maysville Water and Sewer will have a scheduled water main shut down on Thursday, April 16th to replace a damaged valve.
This will affect all customers on St. Rd. 37 between Yellowstone Trail and Notestine Rd. Including all of Harlan Gardens subdivision.
This will also affect all customers on Cuba Rd. south of Trammel Rd. and all customers on Thimler Rd.
Water is scheduled to be shut off at 6 pm and will have a BOIL WATER ORDER in the affected areas when water is restored.
