Bodega enjoyed his day out, walk in the park and self serve bath at Shangri Paw! He's a quiet boy who is nervous but sweet. He's about 2 years old and is a pit bull mix. Bodega is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and is on flea and heartworm prevention. He is ready to find his family, come by and meet him this week! We are open Monday-Friday from 1-5pm and Saturdays from 10-4pm. His adoption fee is $80.

Update from Marcy's foster:

"We’re fostering Marcy and giving her a break from the shelter environment. She was a little nervous at first… but in a calm way. She didn’t sit or lay down at all and any noise of the household had her ears pricked and she was off to check it out. She stayed on her feet all evening plus we gave her a bath (she did well with an outside bath and warm water, as long as the water pressure remained low for the entire bath). Then all the excitement seemed to catch up with her and she fell in love with the orthopedic bed (and snores loudly anytime she’s in it!) but switches it up ever once in a while to cool down on the tile floors. She’s a super chill girl so far."

Want to give a shelter dog a much needed break from the shelter? Let us know if you have questions about fostering!

And if you're interested in meeting sweet Marcy, we'd love to find her a forever home so she doesn't have to come back to the shelter! Let us know if you'd like to arrange a meet and greet!

We have a super cute kitten who needs a foster home in order to avoid returning him back to his TNR colony.

The bad news is that he has ringworm. Our ringworm isolation room is full and there is no room for this cutie patootie.

The good news is that it's totally treatable and we'll provide all supplies for fostering including medical care!

If anyone is willing to help this kitten by fostering, please reach out to us by calling 254-953-5472 or emailing us at [email protected]. We would love to give this baby a chance at being an indoor housecat!
