It is looking more and more likely that a significant Winter Storm is in our near future. PLEASE, take a moment to make a visual of your meter lid and insure that it is in place and secure. Uncovered meters WILL freeze. You will be responsible for the cost to replace the meter if it should freeze. Meter bottoms usually break when they freeze. Not only are very cold temperatures in the forecast, but a significant amount of snow. If travel becomes restricted, we will not be on the roads for frozen meters. If we received significant snow, meters are very hard to locate as well. Again, we urge you to take a quick look today or tomorrow and make sure all is secure. Check underpinning and foundation vents. Make sure you are sealed as best as can be. A small drip of water is advised to help prevent frozen pipes. If your pipes should freeze and ultimately break, avoid opening the meter lid. Shut your service off at your incoming valve. Stay safe and stay warm!

Cold weather is here! Before the severe cold and snow arrive, take a look at your meter. Make sure the lid is on and secured. Uncovered meters will freeze. Make sure foundation vents are closed and underpinning is secure. The forecasted cold temperatures are no joke. Stay safe and warm!

It is no secret that some very inclement weather is on the horizon. Today would be a great day to check your meter lid and check for any exposed uninsulated pipes. With the cold temperatures in the forecast, you meter will freeze if the lid is not secured. If roads become unsafe for travel, we will not be making service calls in a timely manner. If your meter freezes and must be replaced due to an insecure meter lid, you will be charged for that. So please, take a look today and or tomorrow and make sure things look secure and ready for these cold temperatures. It is always a good thing to leave water drip in these cold temperatures that are being forecasted. An elevated water bill is better than broken pipes. Bundle up and keep warm!

While doing the planned excavation to replace a section of water line on County Road 650S, a rock pushed through the line. Therefore, we will finish the replacement of the line today and do the tie in all at one time. You may not have water service for most of today, 21 October 2024. When service is restored, you will need to boil anything that you consume until further notice. We will take samples a soon as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it was beyond our control. Anyone north of US Highway 150 or west of Oak Grove Road is not included in this advisory. Thank you for your understanding.
