📚 A huge miigwech to everyone who came together today to put up our Little Free Library at Murray Rd! Special thanks to (Housing Dept) Derek Conners, (Department of Human Services Binagek) Keely Frye, and our very own Tribal citizen Beth Kiogima for digging the hole and helping make it happen. This is truly a community effort, and we’re so grateful. Stop by, take a book, leave a book, and enjoy! ✨ And a special shout-out to Roberta Shalifoe for her beautiful artwork that makes this project even more meaningful and homegrown!

Aanii everyone! Ready to cozy up with some great books this fall? Join our Reading Challenge for September–October! Complete fun reading activities (like reading with cider, sharing with family, or exploring fall-themed books) using the Reading Challenge Board below.

We had a great time assisting the community with the exhibit at the Odawa Hotel! It was powerful to see multiple generations come together to celebrate community artwork and share our history. We’re looking forward to the next chapter in this revolving exhibit—miigwech to all who made it possible!

Another fantastic reading session! Mr. Nick Shananaquet did an amazing job reading to the binoojiinhak at Ltbb Head Start! A big Chii-miigwech to him for sharing "Nibi Emosaawdaang - The Water Walker". We can’t wait for the next reading session!
