The Manna Food Project Organized in 1987, The Manna Food Project is a private 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation, comprising

The Manna Food Project is a partner distribution center with
Feeding America West Michigan located in Grand Rapids. There
are several programs that Manna oversees and works on
through out the year. Manna not only distributes food to area
pantries but also participates in daily food rescues from local
businesses and operates the "Food 4 Kids" Backpack Program. We also host fundraising events through out the year, and are
continuously in need of supportive donors and volunteers to help

There is a way for everyone to get involved! From driving our trucks for food rescue to filling our food lockers with grocery orders - there's a volunteer spot waiting for you at Manna. Our food lockers are available for online orders every Monday-Thursday and volunteer shoppers help make this program possible.

A big thank you to Bill's Farm Market and the students of Crooked Tree High School for picking 6 bins of pumpkins and squash to give out to our neighbors. In addition to gleaning at the farm, this wonderful students provide weekly support to our food bank operations packing mobile food pantry boxes, assembling produce bags, stocking our food pantry, packing Food 4 Kids bags, and much more. We are so grateful for our partnership with these two wonderful organizations!
