Our brush/broom has finally arrived and sections of the Red Arrow Trail (linear bike path) have been cleared of rocks, mud and debris. The remaining sections will be cleared over the next few days, weather permitting. The long winter and BC Road Department plows have taken their toll on the trail and we will do our best to keep it clean throughout the Spring and Summer months.

Chikaming Township, Earth Day is here. We invite you to join us in cleaning up our surroundings at your business, home, and our beaches and trails. For convenience, a dumpster has been placed at the north end of Harbert Community Park. You can dispose of collected materials at your convenience today or Thursday morning. Attention Union Pier area residents!
The contractor for the Union Pier Rd railroad crossing pushed the start date on the project off until, Thursday, April 23, 2026. Union Pier Rd will be closed from Community Hall Rd to Red Arrow Hwy for approximately a month. Sorry for the inconvenience.
