That’s a wrap on the 2026 season at Cranberry Cove!

Thank you to our beach director, gate attendants, lifeguards, and camp staff for helping make this a safe and fun summer. And thank you to our families, friends, and neighbors for all the wonderful memories.

While the beach is now closed to the public, the ramp for nonmotorized vessels remains open to the public. Visitors can also enjoy the waterfront trail in front of the Lodge, which leads to a peaceful fishing spot.

Feel like continuing the trek? Explore the trails at both the North and South Ends, which connect to Smitty’s Bog.

Curious about camping during the fall foliage? Visit www.campkiwanee.com (http://www.campkiwanee.com/) or give the Lodge a call (781) 293-2333, Monday through Friday from 9 to 2. Be sure to ask about the Hanson resident discount when booking.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible Facilities Manager, Chris, who handcrafted this stunning sign. His talent and dedication continue to make Camp Kiwanee and the Cove an even more welcoming place for our visitors, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything he does.

Unfortunately, due to the rain, cool temperatures, and windy conditions at the beach, swim lessons are canceled today, July 30, 2026. The beach will be closed as well.

The makeup class will be held during the next session. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at the beach soon!
